What We Do

What We Do

Aditi’s goal is to empower the excluded groups such as women in sex work, migrant workers, and People Living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA). Therefore, the organization closely works with these groups by improving their access to quality, health services, education, providing vocational training; and promoting environmentally sustainable income-generating activities. However, the thrust of the organization is to build the leadership capacities of its stakeholders.  Aditi takes a holistic and integrated approach to develop opportunities for marginalized communities through training, tools, and exposure to lead a healthy and dignified life.

Aditi has been implementing multiple community-centric interventions on the ground with the support of different partners and donors to provide a safety net in health care, comprehensive HIV care and support, livelihood and life skill enhancement. Aditi’s Health initiatives include a variety of activities to cater to women. We believe that a healthy life increases participation in other development activities meant for the socio-economic empowerment of the communities and complements in enhancing available opportunities to lead a quality life. In our interventions health covers the following areas – HIV/AIDS/STIs awareness, comprehensive care, and support, nutrition awareness and support, and behavior change through counseling and group interactions.  These services are also complemented by the integration of social security programmes for the targeted population.
